Nov. 29--
Waiting patiently and listen to the Word of God today.
Nov. 30--Wait a minute before you utter that unkind word.
Dec. 1--Wait for an appropriate time to straighten out our differences
with family members and friends.
Dec. 2--Wait a little longer to listen to someone tell you their
concerns.
Dec. 3--Wait a few minutes more to appreciate the beauty of an
evening sunset.
Dec. 4 -- Wait a moment before you jump to conclusions about
other.
Dec. 5--Wait until the members of your family are asleep. Surprise
them with a St. Nicholas treat. Place a small gift in their shoe.
Dec. 6--Wait and appreciate the wealth of the earth. Do not deface
it with litter.
Dec. 7--Wait patiently to help someone who is not as fast as
you physically or intellectually.
Dec. 8--Wait a bit longer in church today to tell God how you
are.
Dec. 9--Wait in lines(whether it the store, in school, or the
movies) patiently. Do something constructive while waiting.
Dec. 10-- Wait and listen politely to your parents/teacher when
they give advice or direction.
Dec. 11--Wait before you buy another unnecessary item. Try to
live a simpler life.
Dec. 12--Wait and listen to the sounds of God's creation before
you rush into another day.
Dec. 13--Wait for an appropriate moment to give someone a compliment.
Dec.14--Wait and see it there is anything you can do to be helpful
at home before you go out.
Dec. 15--Wait and ask what the family members would like to watch
on TV before you attempt to change the channel.
Dec, 16--Wait and think about the hungry people of the world
when you are tempted to waste food.
Dec. 17--Wait patiently today for all things. Do not demand immediate
attention.
Dec. 18--Wait and reverence the giftedness of each person even
when their ideas and views differ from yours.
Dec. 19-- Wait and think before you place undo demands on your
parents and family.
Dec. 20--Wait before you run out the door. Stop and wish your
parents/teachers a good day. Dec. 21--wait your turn to speak. Try not
to monopolize the conversation.
Dec. 22--Wait awhile before you eat each meal today. Try to identify
with the feelings of the hungry people in the world.
Dec. 23--Wait and open the door for someone. Don't be afraid
to open the door to your circle of friends to someone not readily accepted
by others.
Dec. 24--Wait and listen to the various noises of preparation
for Christmas. Reflect on the real meaning of Christmas.
Dec. 25--Wait and open your Christmas gifts last. Try to image
what Christmas is like for a poor family.
