Buy a styrofoam cross in a craft store and some silk flowers with multiple flowers. Get a basket or bowl. Cut up the silk flowers into individual flowers and put them in the bowl or basket and set them near the cross.

Explain to the family that each time they do a good deed or kind act for another family member during Lent they may place a flower on the cross (stems can be pushed into the styrofoam). By Easter you should have a beautiful cross covered in flowers!
