JUST FOR KIDS > CRAFTS > Saint Patrick
I checked out Tomie DePaolo's book about St. Patrick and we have two other books here about the saint that I read to the kids.
Afterwards, we made St. Patrick's Day Mobiles.
Each one of the kids wrote a letter of their name on a small shamrock. After punching a hole in the top and bottom of each finished shamrock, the kids strung them together with green yarn.
The
first shamrock was the biggest and the kids wrote in the appropriate
places The Father, The Son, Holy Spirit after I explained that St. Patrick
used the shamrock to teach about the Holy Trinity. :)
