Saint Nicholas Gingerbread Cookies

  • Roll out and cut the dough into shapes of boys, girls St. Nicholas or hearts.
  • Then whip 1 1/3 cups of powdered sugar with 1 egg white and a pinch of cream of tartar.
  • Spoon the icing into a plastic sandwich bag and squeeze it into a corner.
  • Twist the excess plastic to seal the opening and snip the tiniest bit of the filled corner so you can squeeze out the icing in a thin line.
  • Decorate your cookies beautifully.
