Ideas for the decoration of a kitchen/dining room
during the Advent
Dinner tables can be covered by a cheap paper purple
table cloth.
You can then put a thick clear plastic covering back over
the top of the paper tablecloth. The clear plastic tablecloth can be purchased at the fabric department at WalMart where they sell fabric on large
rolls by the upholstery fabric...
The Advent wreath can be put in the center of the table - you can use any 24 inch Christmas wall wreath, lay it flat on the table and then place large pillar candles in the center of the wreath on the table (3 purple and 1 pink).
You can also do a "living timeline" down the center of the length of the dining
room table under the clear plastic covering so that as you add an
ornament to the tree each night you can also add a PERSON to the
timeline according to the years listed in Jeff Cavins Bible timeline
of chronological Bible History.
