HOW TO PROTECT OUR CHILDREN FROM THE INTERNET
Perhaps you've heard the latest stories about how horrid the internet is with its pornography and unsupervised chatrooms, well, although there is a lot of garbage on the net, the Lord has used it many times over for His greater Honor and Glory!
For parents, here is some useful information about how to safely navigate the net with your kids:
- Put the computer in a room where you can supervise the children.
You can password protect the windows profile of your computer
so that the child cannot access the internet without your consent.
- You can use a Suite that provides you with an Antivirus,
Antispyware, Partental Control and Firewalls. This program also takes
care of popups.
You can either put parental control on which will filter the sites according to their list or you can basically block all sites except the sites that you enter in your own private list.
